More than 500 small businesses, government officials and community members learned about the benefits of a COMTO membership when the Colorado Chapter exhibited at the Denver International Airport’s DEN Business Connect show. This annual educational and networking event connects concessionaire and construction companies looking to work with the airport.
The DEN Commerce Hub and Denver International Airport presented “Business Connect: Where Business Takes Off”, at the Renaissance Hotel Stapleton on November 1. Speakers and guests discussed a variety of subjects ranging from how to do business at DEN, to current and future procurement opportunities. Colorado Chapter’s participation was an awesome opportunity to network with some of the industry’s top primes, subcontractors and DEN project managers.
Founded in 1971 on the campus of Howard University in Washington, DC, the Conference Of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO) was created to provide a forum for minority professionals in the transportation industry.
